1st STNA Division Tourney is in the books...
« on: February 20, 2006, 11:40:42 AM »

The first tourney of the USA BASSIN' season started off Saturday morning to a very windy and COLD rainy Chickamauga Lake...did I mention it was cold?  ~rain

We had 8 boats full of hardy souls ready to compete on the Chick. In the end, Team Arnold lead the field with a bag weighing 10 lb 3oz, with a 3lb 7oz Beautiful Smallmouth. Team Bartlett won big fish with a 3lb 11oz Largemouth. His combined weight of 6lb 13oz earned him second place.

Here are some pics of the winners...

Thanks to everyone that participated in our tournament yesterday.  Our next tourney is scheduled for March 25th at Guntersville Lake. I can honestly say that the 10lb 3oz. bag will not stay up top for long in this division, it is very possible that a 10lb fish could be weighed in for big fish!!!

See you there!!!

Glad to see ya got your first tour in. Too bad about the poor weather! But, glad the diehard fisherman came out to join the trail!

Not a bad start for the year in your division. Should pickup as the weather improves!

Guess ya saw the other AL division had to cancell due to their weather?

Let's see, here in KY we had a high of 28F and snow on the ground and snowing.

Can't wait for our weather to get better! I'm ready to get the boat out!!

Yea we have a determined bunch, they didnt give up until weigh-in...now after that, that is a different story.  You haven't seen boats going that fast down the road LOL.  :roll2:

We had a good first tourney, I am predicting to have as many a 3-4 times as many boats in March.  Of course if the weather is "decent" they probably be more.  Although I have a core group now that I can depend on come "rain, sleet, snow, Ice Pellets the size of english peas".

Look Big-G here we come in about a month!!!  20+ will win this tourney, we have some mighty fine anglers fishing with us.   ~c~
