Need some help. I have never been to Eufaula. Looking for some help on where to fish. What are the fish doing there right now? Anybody from there or that is going there during September please e-mail me or PM me. Looking for a little help for a club tourney in October. Thanks in advance.

Scott,

I have fished Eufaula some, a few years ago! I have a map at home I will c heck out tonight and post in the morning! One of the nicest launch's is at Lake Point Resort, it's a state park, and is very nice indeed. Also South of the launch, the old part of the city, was flooded and is still under water with all the buildings in tact, there are also roads and a few underwater bridges too!
I will check tonight and post for you in the morning!
Happy fishing to you!

Hey Scott,

Here's some numbers for you for fishing Eufaula,  If going out of LakePoint Resort State Park, you will be around the 101.1 mile marker, just as you go out of the landing, theres some great stump rolls & grass beds, then once you get to the main river channel which is 101.1, cross the river to 101, there is a creek called Soapstone Creek, good points here, also going South to 100.2,, the river channel hungs the left side when some good points and drop offs, then farther down to 98. on your right side there's some creeks feeding into the river with great points and channels, then down around the 95.1 area is where the old part of town is or was, since it was flooded and under water, you will be able to pick it up on the sonar. There is also a bridge & train bridge underwater around this area too!

Around the flooded part of town is the Chewalla Marina if you launch down South, but remember, its a big lake that gets very rough real quick, so be careful!

You also have Tom Mann's Fish World there and a bunch of nice Resturants on the lake front.
Hope this helps buddy!  Get you a Top Spot Lake Map of Eufaula and you will see the numbers and mile markers!

Godd fishing buddy,

Ricky

I will also be fishing the Tensaw, Ala. area during the week of Sept.16-19 around the Upper or Lower Brayant's area on Tensaw Lake & river, maybe I can help you there also!
