Thanks for the vote of confidence and all here, I will enjoy this as much as anyone I hope. The way I see all this has been that we all learn together long as the pissing contests don't get started or hidden agenda's get in the way of the rest of us. At least this has been what I have seen other forums I have tried to help on.

Know I will be the first to admit, I don't know it all and figure I never will. So as I say we all can learn from each other here. I just would like to hope we all can do this together and more importantly have fun... I will have to admit that I will be able to help more of the people here with the Johnson and Evinrude products as I have cut my teeth on these, but I have worked on almost every brand out there some. I have been playing all this past summer with lots of the Yamaha products. I do have one of those playing with me all this past week LOL...Round two with this motor will begin Monday morning brite and early too...

I will do my best for each and everyone here and will be the first to admit when I have no idea what someone may or may not need. So I will hope there are those here to help me as well, hince we all have fun here together. Hopefully I can follow all postings here too in a more timely thing from when I first signed on LOL...I do have AOL behind me at this point and I am not looking back at them. I do have a learning curve with the new web brouser I am using now, so there will be things I might like or need to post here that will take me time to figure how to make these all work for us here. Good bye and good riddens to AOL...

Welcome Rowdy...this is a very different environment than other forums which will become evident rather quickly.  All the people that I have dealt with here are straight forward and contribute to a good environment for communication.  I suspect you will be pleasantly surprised!  I look forward to all that you have to say and contribute as time goes on.

Oh yeah, by the way......I hope you're not working on motors over at H&W Marine in Marshall hahahaha!  Just by coincidence I dropped my Yamaha ('99 150 VMAX 0X66) off over there last week & it apparently is kicking their butts trying to figure out what the problem is lo!  They replaced the powerhead in April & it's been cutting out at mid range ever since.  They're good folks & I'm sure they'll get it figgered out eventually, someday, maybe!  Where you at in Texas?  I lived near Austin before moving to Loosiana 8 yrs ago.

Brandon!  Now this is really getting cool!  Noticed that Catfish also found the plug that Marty and I left on that other board!  LOL  Glad you guys found the site and I know you'll like it.  Nothing like those we struggled through in the past.  I'm still waiting on those boxes Brandon!  LOL  I figured you would just drop in on your way back from the deer hunt and tried to stay real close to base just in case but I did figure time would be running short for you.  Again, welcome aboard!

mtolley,

Glad you found Rowdy! We have all got kind of attached to him and hope he will stick around a while :) So are you into motors or fishing? Makes no difference around here I am sure you will find a place to fit in. The folks around here are pretty easy going. Just let me know if you need anything...
