Smaller boat livewell.
« on: February 15, 2010, 09:40:52 AM »

As soon as it warms up a hair I will get some pics to go with this. I have a 14' V and tournament fish every year. I removed the center bench seat since it was just in the way anyway. I bought a 120qt cooler and mounted it to the floor (plywood) inside is a tower type aerator which is wired to a toggle. To fill and drain it I have my bilge pump wired up, with 6' of wire, but not mounted. I attached a 6' piece of rubber hose to it so when I need to fill the livewell, I throw the pump over the side, turn the switch on and fill it at 600gpm. Then after the fish are released I just put the pump in the livewell and pump all the water back out. Also comes in handy on the hotter days when I want to do partial water changes during the tourney.

cooler http://www.walmart.com/ip/Igloo-Polar-120-quart-Cooler/3512888

Took me some time to come up with all this originally, so I figured I'd share it for someone else who needed it.
