for those who back lash a roll of paper towels here is a trick/tip for you. go to any store that sells crochet hook/tools. it has a little hook on the end that you can pull the line out with. wal-mart sells them also. they even make a foam cover to put on it which will float if you drop it in the water.

Another idea is to put your thumb on the line firmly and reel about an inch. If the backlash doesn't come off do it again and again. When you pull the line it should come off.
