Ohio State Bass Fishing Information
«
on:
January 31, 2005, 09:24:06 PM »
I thought this might be a good place to add a forum for the Ohio State Bass Fishing Information. I know that there are a lot of you out there talking about fishing and this will give you a place to talk about the area fishing information that isn't really a fishing report. Things like slot limits, lake closers, Fishing and Game issues and trips or stories about Ohio.
Laurie
I have noticed some of you looking for Ohio anglers and fishing information. The is a great site! you should check it out!!!

I went over and checked it out a little earlier after seeing OHFishing sign up. Been meaning to check it out for quite awhile but just never did. When OHFishing and OhioGameFishing started up I got an invite to OGF and just kept forgetting to pop in over at the other. That's been taken care of now...
I signed up and if anyone wants to touch base over on either site, my screen name is "JBJ".

It looks like a great site. I will print some flyers up for Miami Valley Boat show to try to get some south west Ohioans on the site.

How many forums do you have up at one time, Susan? You must googoo eyed as much as you are on these forums.

Ha ha JBJ.. sometimes I have 4 forums going at once.
Most of them are slow, so it's simple. It got wild tonight between OHFishing and here!
Keeps my mind off of other things! Nothing like diving in to the computer, beats a bottle!

I hit Burr Oak in Athens Co. yesterday evening. It was real muddy. I had no luck, but it was nice to throw a lure for a while.

Mike started a Burr Oak thread so we can organize our reports as they come in. I'll see what initial information I can drum up for that fishing hole and post it in the new thread for you guys.

I already added a mess of them a month ago. Pretty much all of the well known bass fisheries in Ohio. After updating Burr Oak I considered doing some more but thought I'd wait till other folks added them. I am thinking that some folks might like to start new lake threads if they fish the hole.

I didn't have anything good to say about Burr Oak, so I didn't say anything at all. Like mama always told me.
But I'll go back I'm sure with better results.

If you are going to be that close to Columbus, you could always hit Griggs Res. or O'Shay Res. along the Scioto River. Just go SouthEast on 33. And if you are going to do that, you could even stop by to visit me at the Dick's Sporting Goods where I work. I will be there from 7am to 3pm on Monday. The store opens at 9am.
