I have noticed that the fastest way to draw others from your state is to post a few fishing reports in the state board. Seems that when you are searching google and yahoo, the lakes that are empty don't come up but if there is activity such as a fishing report then you will be found by others that are looking for information on that lake or state ;)

Robert, looks like you got an early start this morning... Welcome to the site! One of the things that draws members to your area in the forum is bass fishing reports. Seems all it takes are a few reports and you have folks talking to you from you home state ;)

I'm from WV living in the Charleston area.  There are some big bass in W.V. just not in the rivers.  You gotta hit some farm ponds or make it down to Stonewall Jackson Lake.  Hey sketter I just moved from Mineral Wells lived there all my life all my family still lives there.  Small world huh :)

That is funny, I lived in Rockport before I moved here. Get ahold of me when you come back to visit the family and we will take the boat out. How old are you? I'm 29.

What a coincidence I lived in Rockport on Wolf Run before moving to Charleston for work.  I also am 29 did you go to South?  Will definitely get ahold of you when I plan on going up this spring to visit.   What area of the rivers do you fish skeeter?  Never really done much bass fishing on the rivers up there.  Mostly fishing for catfish on the Little Kanawha and stripers and sauger in the Ohio.

Yes I know who they are.  I like Belleville some good fishing down there especially since they made the fishing pier and the walkway.  Never been up towards St. Marys fishing though always wanted to fish the backwaters you see going up Rt. 2.  Looks like good fishing.  Plan on going up there for the W.V. Bass Festival they have up there this year if I can find out when it is.  You wouldn't happen to know when do you.  I graduated from South class of 96 you?  Family still lives out Bogal.

I was supposed to graduate in 96 but I quit with like 3 months to go. I can't remember when the bass festival is but I want to fish it. My regular partner says he can't so I don't know. I think it is in May sometime.

Hey guys I am from Parkersburg.

Right now I am living in Lexington KY.

I still get up that way quite a bit. My dad just bought a house on the Ohio river right up from the mall.

We all are going to have to get together and do some fishing this spring and summer.

I was born and raised in Pennsboro (Ritchie Co) until '85 when Uncle Sam and I said "I do" and left for the Air Force.  We come back to visit twice a year about. All vehicles have the WV sticker and I still am a Mountie fan! ;)

My wife has family in Ritchie county.  I also am in the WV air national guard.  Have you fished the North Bend Lake up there yet?

No not yet.  I drove by about two years ago when it was filling up and it will have some awesome trees in it for structure. We've thought about getting a cabin there for a week and I'd bring the boat. Maybe this summer.
