Guess what? Spectastic Tackle now sells standout hooks too at a better price than BPS or any of the retailers do.

Just remember to pratice with them for a few min in the shallow water. It doesnt take much rid tip action to get the right action on the worm. With small thin worms like the wiggle worms sold by spectastic it only takes 1/4"-1/2"  to make the worm wiggle. But with a large worm like a 10"-12" culprit it takes 1-1.5" of tip movement. To make a thick and heavy senko wiggle it takes between 1 and 2" of tip action to work. Flukes I varry the action depending on size and how I want them to look.

Saw them at the BMC this year and bought one of the Mojo kits.   Undecided and I have not tried yet - what am I thinking - this little rig is laying on my boat somewhere right now - am going to rig a rod up this weekend.  Absolutely killer action - I'd recommend everyone give one a try if you like drop shotting or you like catching fish when no one else is Wink  Wonder what happened to the Mojo side of things and why they are not selling any more?

Not to ruffle a sponsors feathers but, Mojo Weights never stopped selling the Spectastic Wiggle Rig.
Matter of fact, the Spectastic Wiggle Rig was developed and packaged and made user friendly by the Mojo Company, regarding the ease of rigging the bungee material to the Mojo patented Wire with the Mojo cylindrical sinker and the effortless attachment of the Bungee material to the anglers line, not to mention the awesome package insert with its directions for use! I had purchased a 85 piece Spectastic Wiggle Rig kit for just $15.00 from Mojo Weights by calling awhile back.

Ok, there needs to be some clarification here. Our sponsor Rodney, Owner of spectastic tackle, Invented the wiggle rig and holds the patents. He had lic. them to MOJO. The license has been revoked and if MOJO is still selling them they are doing so illegally.  MOJO holds no patents on the wiggle rig.  Wink  I just wanted to clarify this before anyone go the wrong Idea. Again Rodney owns all patents not MOJO.

I'm not a lawer and don't know the specifics of the licensing aggreement between them but, I would think if Mojo Weights purchased 100' of the patented spectra material from Rodney under that license, wouldn't they right to sell that material purchased or would Rodney be forced to buy that material back?

It's an honest question.
I'm not trying to disute who owns and sells what, just responding to swede that Mojo still sells the product.

I am not sure of all the specifics either, I just know that the license was revoked and MOJO was supposed to stop selling it. I just wanted to clarify where you said MOJO developed and patented the wiggle rig as that is not true.
I am sure Rodney or his prostaff will be along shortly to clarify all of this.

I'm sorry I sent the wrong message, I didn't mean Mojo patented the Wiggle Rig or the spectra material and certainly didn't say that. Please read my post again.  Ranger's Flag

You said, the spectastic wiggle rig was developed by MOJO.  It's no big deal I just wanted to clarify that before people read it and got the wrong Idea about our sponsors.  The whole thing was developed by Rodney, weights and all.  MoJo did hold the license to retail them that is all.  I am not trying to argue or anything just wanted to put the truth out there.

I am not qualified to tell the story nor will I. All I will say is that MOJO did have a liscence to sell the wiggle rigs. Renosky had the liscence first. But now the only person on the planet allowed to manufacture and sell the wiggle rig (sans retail outlets we are in) is Rodney Long. Mojo Didnt develoupe anything. They just sold the rig under rodneys liscence. I will get Rodney in here ASAP to clear any questons or problems anyone may have.

Yeah with what, 16 bungees in it

You have been lied to and conned,, he is good at doing both,, I need to really address this, since you brought it up

No it was not made  or developed in any way by Mojo,, I did all "their" wiggle rig  designs, even their packaging, all that art work came off MY computer. Mojo is currently infringing on "MY" patent,, I also designed both their Rock Hopper, and rig savor weights, Mojo refused to pay me for either my time or for "anything" in a timely manor. most of the time just no payment at all. He hid sales from me to keep from paying me royalties, "He" BROKE every agreement we ever had, he still owes me Money. He never did pay "me" for that SpecTastic he sold you.  SO you bought stolen material  Smiley

It is true he has not stopped selling the rigs, My lawyers want to go after him, the trouble is he has NOTHING to go after. His company is hundreds of thousands in the red.... HE HAS ABSOLUTELY NO RIGHTS to sell the Wiggle rig,, WHAT does that tell you ?  He is a thief, plain and simple. You want to do business with a thief ?

My lawyers will be going after his retailers for patent infringement

I designed the Wiggle rig,, he did have a drop shot weight that he invented "PRIOR" to even seeing the Wiggle rig, it was not designed for it, a weight that "no one wanted" Sells are near nil on that thing,, it does work with "my" material, but no one can work with him.

Currently I don't have the fancy packaging,, because I don't need it for internet and mail order sales, that's for stores.

His little kits  for $3.49 you get 3 SpecTastics, you have to order 5 kit minimum, and he then hits you for over $8.00 S&H  DO the math,, yep people really get a deal  Laugh

I've got over 7 years of developing the Wiggle rig to what it is today, and many thousands of dollars,, After I "forced" him to take it to the Classic,  (he sat on this thing for 3 years) and he saw just what professional fishermen thought of it,, he then "told me" he wanted "MOJO" to take credit for it's design, he is Mojo, there are no employees,, so "he" wanted to take credit for all "MY" work, that was the straw that broke my back. SO I demanded the money he owed me,, he then said I was not his friend, that all I cared about was money (That was/is my lively hood, that's how I survive) that he didn't want to do business with me because I wanted to be paid, so I could eat, then he went on still making money off of ME.

I have PROOF of all of this by the way,, and a whole lot more you don't want to know, that's even worst than what he did to me. Sorry to burst your bubble about Mojo

Yes  """" if """" he paid for it,, he never paid for it, past the deposit,, he owed me for that material for 15 months before I cut the ties,, he never did pay for it, I demanded it back,, but of course he refused, but then again he also didn't pay me for all the tackle shows I did at the end of last year,, not even for my gas which was a couple hundred dollars,, and I had to "borrow" the money to do these shows. He told me before these shows he would pay me for my time and expenses.
