ok just got back from a fishing trip to a local gravel pit. first thing is less is more. it has a ton of action which took a couple cast to get use to. small movements of the rod tip make it jump like a mouse on a hot plate. i would drag it till i felt the weight catch on a rock or some object then keep it tight and give it some action. landed 11 fish on the rig biggest was just over 3lbs. i would have used it longer but the topwater bite turned on and a spook with a front runner done the job for big fish just over 6lbs. now for the bad part of the night. my digital camera is in 20ft of water. my wifes uncle was stepping back to take a picture of the 6lber tripped on the net and it flew out. doug

My question,, First time out with it, did it do what you thought it would ?

when i got them in the mail and started playing around with it my first thought was how will it stay in the lock swivel. i didnt know if it needed a knot or tie it on. it didnt need either of them which was a bonus to me. they lock in tight and dont move. after that i wanted to make sure i rigged it the right way. once i got to the pit i just tossed in about 2 1/2' of water so i could see what it was doing. it takes a lot less work to get great action. even slow movements of the rod tip makes it jump all over the place. i also see why you posted the tip on the swivel on top even though i didnt try it that way. the bait moves so much it does cause some line twist if you go wild with the rod tip. once i slowed down it eliminated the line twist. bottom line it is a setup that will be on that rod from now on. i will be going to another lake this week to try it out also. it is a little tougher to fish but the last couple of trips i have caught a bunch on the drop shot. doug

I have had thousands of people fish this rig,, but I am always worried "one" person won't like it, I've been told, in this industry, 80% "just" satisfied is an AWESOME number, nearly unheard of,, but So far as "I know"  it's been 100% with the Wiggle rig version of my original invention. This is the first time "I" have been in control of the manufacturing of this rig, I made some changes to improve it over the Mojo version, we won't talk about the Boomerang, That guy just about sunk it, against me raising all kinds of hell.

Now, every time I hear from a seasoned fishermen like you, it makes me think, I will be able to make it in this industry.
God willing of course.

Lee

I fixed that,, didn't know I had to delete them,, sorry

Let's talk lures, what works "best"

Flukes,, Flukes are just awesome, when the bite gets tough, a tiny fluke is the answer, any soft plastic minnow, some of the natural painted ones are truly tops. (if it comes with a jig head in it,, take the head off and use a standard hook)

Berkley Gulps, the minnows

Worms,, you want them soft, with "no" swimming twister tails, you don't need them and if they are long, you loose a lot of action. rigged either drop or Texas.
I have yet tried this but I have been getting many tournament guys telling me they wacky rig worms and Senkos on the rig and they are kicking some MAJOR BUTT, they just tighten their line and a rapid "short" rod tip bounce

Craws, you want to rig Texas, slide the lock swivel on your line first, then an optional bead, then tie on your hook

Lizards are very good rigged either way (drop, or Texas)

Bass Assassins do just that, rigged this way

What works WORST

Grubs , those curve tail grubs,, use something else, straight tails are very good though

I'm going to give this a try myself.  Making the adjustment to fishing bigger tourneys onthe Ohio River as a co-angler really forces me to be more finesse oriented.  I'm going to order myself a set of them immediately.

Got mine today and had to go fishing,,,
Well, i was happy like a kid in a candy store, it is so much fun playing with it in the water, it took me a while to get used to the flexible action and work with the rod tip more but once i did I never stopped, I got to the lake at about 2pm and fished to 8pm.
I should have rigged some back at the house to save fishing time but I was was to anxious to try them out.
I had about 3 keepers and 4 lil fish all on one rig. Did lose one weight to the great deep lake, but all in all awesome lure/bait/rig.
