i have been using the standout hooks and while doing some online surfing i seen he also makes the wiggle rig. the hooks work great but i have not used the wiggle rig and wanted to see if anyone else had. doug

Saw them at the BMC this year and bought one of the Mojo kits. $:-\$ and I have not tried yet - what am I thinking - this little rig is laying on my boat somewhere right now - am going to rig a rod up this weekend. Absolutely killer action - I'd recommend everyone give one a try if you like drop shotting or you like catching fish when no one else is

Wonder what happened to the Mojo side of things and why they are not selling any more?

It looks like a mojoa weight under a swivel on a regular drop shot weight to me. Am I missing something $:-\$

the cord part is like a bungee cord is what the site says. so when you throw it out the weight will stay in place but the cord will stretch giving it the action. if i am right about what i read than you will be able to cast it or drop it down and work the bait without moving it. and now that i am typing this can anyone say bed fishing? toss it past the bed then stretch the cord into the bed and wiggle the bait. hmmmmmmmmm i need to keep my thought to myself sometimes. doug

Yep - a little bungee cord which allows for the sinker to remain on bottom while you put action to tthe bait. The bungee stuff is elastic strands - kind of like that in the waist band of underwear.

I just orderd 2 of the 20 buck kits. 1 with the finess weights and 1 with the Tear drop weights. There is no reason I can see that this wouldnt work. I wished I would have thought about it.

I showed it to my wife, she is picking up the cord from the fabric shop (guess woman use this stuff alot). I am going to try to make my own tonight. The problem seems to be attaching the cord to the swivel. A few

Why not try it with those tiny little bungees you get with tags on clothes? If it worked you could spend the bucks on these knowing they'll work. I would just use those little tag bungees all the time since they're free (the wife will provide you with too man easily) and they're going to get lost anyway...

according to the web site it is compared to bungee but is something else. it says it is much stronger than bungee also. doug

Said they were made from Spectra fiber, the same fiber that is used for Power pro and spiderwire stealth braids, but that seems contradictory because neither of those have any stretch.

Not like that elastic at all, this elastic is made from Spectra, the only elastic in the word made from it, which also makes it the most expensive elastic in the world, as it is only made for use in the rig.

Every elastic manufactured was tested for this rig, "none" would work, of the hundreds of types tested. The problem was either one of two things, the stretch was too strong, requiring a number of Oz'es of weight to hold it in place, 0r the material was too weak, you could not even flip it, without it breaking , and the slightest snag broke it off.

The Wiggle rig's "SpecTastic" stretches fully in about 1/2 Oz, yet it's around 14 lb test.

I went ahead and covered "all" elastics in my patent anyway, to keep some con artist from trying to sell something that won't work, and people thinking it's the Wiggle rig

These do wear out, so you get spares in each kit, I've tried to get the whole package as cheap as possible, yet I have over $100,000 and 5 years invested in this.

I'll be glad to answer any specific questions anyone has

The one question I had, was why was it introduced by mojo, then they dropped out?? I will probably be purchasing a kit first thing tomorrow btw. It's a great lookin rig!

Regular elastic, one that does not require a huge weight, breaks at 3 Oz, you will constantly be trying to re-rig, if you even are able to cast it.

Sure can't and it really shows how Standout believes in his product. I was going to go to the fabric shop myself just to try, but now I won't be.
