   It works good but takes a couple of time to get use to doing sometimes you can feel it pop loose almost like popping a soda can.

If you use your needlenose to bend the barb down, this works FLAWLESSLY...

even if you can only touch the very end of the hook you can get it out...

:D

I saw this work while fishing in Florida this year and it worked like a dream.  I was blown away.  Just like the story read we were fishing using the shiners and had this happen.  The guide showed us all how to do this and now I will never leave another hook or try and rip one out again...
