WEEDLESS BUZZBAIT
« on: August 15, 2007, 09:57:19 AM »

This is an easily made weedless buzzbait. Not comeletely weedless, but better than a regular buzzbait. I start with a small diameter braided wire, you can use a piece of stainless steel wire also, but the braided makes more of a squeak. You also need a bead, a rivet, a blade, and a couple of ferrels if using braided wire. And I used a tube weight and hook for this one, you can use anything you like! But something with the weight down is needed to keep the bait from rolling over.

Didn't have any ferrels so I just cut these off a wire terminal and crimped on the wire.

And here's with a trailer, not what I usually use. I normally use a larger curly tail grub. If you use a head and hook with a collar on it, you can add a skirt.
