Fishing Seats
« on: August 11, 2007, 11:46:10 AM »

My seats on my decks are hard to pull up, especially for my children.  I sprayed some Breakfree lubricant into the plastic hole in the deck and replaced the seats.  The seats are very easy for the kids to set up when we get to our fishing spot.  I don't leave mine up on the front deck because my boat has places for two fishing seats on the front and they block my view if they're up.

Great tip - I've got a bottle of TuffOil - an oil additive for vehicles.  It has teflon qualities and works great for lubing not only seat posts, but locks on all your storage compartments (keeps from icing up in winter too), reel lubricant, door hinges, plug on back of boat, and many other things.
