Hey Greg...Tournament starts around 6 and is about 6 hours long...So somewhere around 1 or 2.

Hopefully Andrew and I will be paired together with Mr. Sewell as the Boater.  ;)

Haha. Yeah the tournament weigh in should be anywhere from 1-2 depending on what time we get out. Last year things got all messed up and we didnt end up launching until almost 7. That would be awesome to be paired with you! :) Lets just hope you draw my name!

How do tournaments run in the Jr side. Do you all each get time at the front of the boat, do you tell the boat captain where to go, etc...
I wish I could come to the weight in to support you two. I hope you both do very well. What do the winner get?

What happens is everyone shows up to the ramp and the boaters draw two names, it's usually one from the 11-14 age group and 15-18 age group and then once their on they launch in the order they drawed and usually we can tell the boaters where we wanna go unless we don't know the waters. The boaters arent really supposed to help out all that much, but what are you gonna do ya know? It's gonna happen. And yeah usually they share the trolling motor switching off or they can let the boater do it. I usually like the back of the boat so i have less to worry about :) Kinda odd that i dont like the front yes, but it always works out for me. I've outfished the front fisherman plenty of times. The winner is captain of the state team and usually get a plaque and a bunch of gear.

I'm not sure how the state team will workout this year because they went away with the Jr Mr bass. I was the last person to ever win that tournament ha ha. I hope we pick him too!

There is only 6 boats for our club tourney. I hope we are there and floating before they get started. I am pretty sure we will launch before they do. Do you know how big the FOM are?

Im sure it will be tough. If the weather cooperates im sure there will be some nice fish brought to the scales. Any areas in Saltpeter or Dundee you would reccomend? Thats where i may concentrate my fishing throughout the day. I know some good spots that im sure i can get some fish off of.

I fished the Bridge back about 3 months ago during a club tx out of the joppatowne ramp and got nothing off of the bridge but a few stupid perch. Threw crankbaits, jigs, culprit worms, and spinnerbaits.
