Stopped at local dock last nite to try fishin the docks for a few min. This guy with his 3 kids (boy about 6 and 2 girls less then 13) was loading his big ole power boat (flippin idiots if u ask me) he loaded it on trailer left kids in back and preceded to pull forward. His Chevy (no pun intended i drive one) could barely pull it up the ramp. When he gets to the top where the truck breaks over the trailer came off ball and preceded to back down the ramp until trailer chains hit (thank god he had nought sense for them). Front of trailer came up then slammed down hard, kids started screaming ya know the drill. All in less then 5 seconds.

Guy stops jumps out screams what the he77 and precedes to cuss kids for messin (not word he used to his kids) with his trailer and how someone musta unhooked it. 5 min lecture later the 6 yr old boy said well daddy you had me hook up the trailer. Maybe i didn't latch it right

DUH who the he77 in there right mind would let someone that young hook up trailer. Maybe backing you to the ball but latching it??? WTH kinda dad is he??? WTH kinda person tows a trailer without FIRST checking everything out. If someone else hooks me up I ALWAYS double and sometimes triple check. Stupid moron never did even ask if kids were alright.

Then the first thing to do to latch trailer back on had the kids sit on back of boat while still on ramp, nothing holding it on but 2 chains to try and counter balance weight and pick tongue up to get jack under. WHAT A MORON, can I say it any louder>

? The kids could not have weighted more then 115 all 3 total soaking wet. This was not your standard boat either one them deep bottom roarin around the lake pulling a skier type boat. Never once did I offer a hand stupid idiot got whatever he deserved. Oh how I wanted to give him a piece of my mind about the whole situation. What if them chains broke (likely but possible) and a kid fell off and got run over and drug under trailer into water???

SOME People should not be allowed to OWN A BOAT. Retard anyway

your so right it was a bad call not to check out everything personally, I like you check it, even when it some one older I double check too. I even double check at the ramp before loading too, you never know when some one playing around has pop it lose. these type need to be told it their duty to have it right not a kids!
