You need to get down south after those big ones. If it weren't for going to Florida in Feb and March I would be working on a 20 lb limit instead. 3 of my 5 came from the sunny South this year.

I'm up to 40.25lbs. I went a while with no culling, but I have been doing well the last few weeks at night. My best 5 one night was around 26lbs., of course that was during practice. Hopefully I can get rid of those two 6 pounders with a few big mamas.

You need to get down south after those big ones. If it weren't for going to Florida in Feb and March I would be working on a 20 lb limit instead. 3 of my 5 came from the sunny South this year.

2. 3lbs 7 ozs on a sinko in a Indiana Ditch
3. 4.9 Pine Lake in Mich. caught on a KaRu Cotten Candy Vibershock
4. 3 lbs 3 oz on a senko in a ditch in Indians
5. 3 lbs 5 oz Same Forest Preserve Pond and same KaRu Vibershock
Total = 19 LB 9 oz

The bend has been pretty good to me this year. I have caught all of them out fairly deep except for one of the 9#'s that was on a bed in the spring. If we went by boat my limit would be a little bigger. My team partner caught and 8.5#er in the McDonalds Tourney and a few other 6 #ers with me this year. The bend is getting back to its old ways I think. It seems like each year the tournament stringers get bigger and bigger.

My best 5 took another jump this week with a 4.5lb bass out of Florida's Stick Marsh located just outside Fellesmere.
1) 4.00 (Lake Istokpoga)

FEB. 23, 2008, Caught seven fish that day the biggest five weighed 36.6 lbs. I had an 8.9 anchor, followed by a 8.4, a 7.6, 6.4,and a 5.3. I did take pics and showed them to our club but they are not digital so i do not know how to post them. These fish were caught on a white chatterbait with a chartuse trailer.
