Yesterday evening myself and R. Mayer met with Water Valley and they couldn't have been more accommodating towards us and 5280 Basshunters. August 3 is now set in stone to host the tournament and they graciously offered to set up their picnic tables near one of the fairways directly across from the boat ramp. The tournament will be from 8:30 A.M to 1:00 P.M. Two kids (one from each age group) will be tied with a 5280 Basshunter and they will be a team. The combined weight of 5 fish will count towards their daily bag. The top two teams (4 Kids) will receive scholarships. We will host a BBQ afterward during the awards ceremony and we are in the process of gathering sponsors to give the other kids some prizes. More details will follow but we now need 15 members to committ to this date to take the kids fishing on their boats and a few more to BBQ all of your families will be welcome. I am working on getting a bounce house from Buckley AFB for the younger kids, I think this event is really going to be something special for these kids.-Erick D.-
