The best source of info would be to send an email to info@bulletboats.com or call 865-577-7055.  Rather than speculating on how to assist you, the boys at Bullet would know exactly how to go about solving your problem.

Man, no problem at all. Call the guys at Bullet for any info you need, super helpful. Fuel tank came right out just like they said.....well it doesn't come RIGHT out, but it will come out. Once the tank is out, plenty of room to work.

I have had my tank out 4 times.  I just had to take it out this week as I thought I burned out a new aerator pump.  Turns out one of my connections came loose.  I know on a 21XD you have to remove the trim to get the tank out.  After a while the tank gets out of square and start to bulge.  That's when it really becomes a pain to get out.  I finally bought a new tank in the spring and it slipped right in.  Also, if it is real hot out, the tank will swell.  Once you get it out, put it in the shade or even better in a cool basement until you are ready to drop it back in.

I have done a lot of "fixin" and blinging on my Bullet so please feel free to ask for help.
