Trolling Motor For Sale
« on: September 27, 2008, 09:30:53 AM »

Hey guys I have a Minn Kota Edge 70lb trolling motor for sale. It came on my new boat. I already had a trolling motor to put on it so I have no use for this one. I would be willing to get rid of it for 300$. Anybody interested hit me up on here.

Good condition. It worked before I took it off. I mean the boat is a 2008 and was barely used. So the trolling motor was barely used also. The only reason I am selling it is because I already had a motorguide tour 82lb to put on the boat that I bought brand new in 2007.

Wow, I can't believe you haven't had someone snatch this up yet.  $550 trolling motor new you are letting go for $300 and it is practically new...  I already have a bunch of trolling motors now that are sitting in my garage as backups...  Otherwise I'd grab this one up real quick...

Anybody got an old 12v Foot control lying around that you want to get rid of? 35-40 lbs of thrust would be plenty. Putting it on an old 14' alum.

you might get a little better response by posting the items for sale in the classified section instead of the fishing reports section  ;)  I wish i had a couple bills extra, i'd love to upgrade to a 24V on my boat.

Good point on the classified section Eric.
I would also expand the possibilities and post it on the swap and sell pages of the Bass Fishing Home Page site.
I put my Triton TR20 on there this winter and sold it for my asking price in 5 days. :)

I would of but I don't feel like shipping this thing anywhere so I figured I would try to get someone in MD to buy it. Oh yeah and Andrew I had a buddy tournament on Marshy Hope today and a guy caught a 4.5 pounder. One of the biggest I have seen in a while from that place. Sure would of like to had that during our tourney.

Thats big for in there. I havent seen many that size in there for a while. I caught maybe 3 over 4lbs all of last year but this year i have yet to catch any bigger like say maybe 2.5lbs. I havent been out on my boat for a while other then today i went out for 3 hours on the miles river striper fishing. I was getting like 15-24inchers on poppers. It was a blast!!! Gonna do it again tuesday.

Middle river mast
I have an older 12/24 motor guide I would be willing to give away! the shaft seems to be quite short I think about 42".and 1 knob is broken but I used it on my ranger till I bought a new one. I think it is aroung a 48/50 pound thrust. Shaft lenght should be good for a smaller boat. foot pedal and all else works.

Greg,

For that price, I can't pass it up! I'll send you an email. If I just run it on 12 volt I should get 25-30 lbs of thrust. 42" is plenty for my Aluminum.

Thanks Again
