Hi Guys,
Just wanted to take a couple minutes to say thank you. It does not feel like it was nearly a year and a half ago when I received a phone call asking for my input on helping to start a new TBF/FLW bass club in Colorado. As a founding member of 5280 Basshunters I am very proud to know that I was a part of putting together one of the finest bass clubs I have ever seen. I believe this club will continue to raise the bar in setting the standard that other clubs want to achieve. We have all been in other clubs, and remarkably, we have all come away from them with the same complaints. What a novel idea of creating a club eliminating those causes of complaint from the very beginning!! Like it or not 5280 Basshunters has become the bass club that many clubs only wish they were.
FYeah, thank you for dispelling all the myth about the Jackrabbit migration. Jeff, thank you for being "legal". Matt, thank you for letting Q-tip catch a fish. Don, thank you for keeping all this running on an even keel. Curtis, thank you for introducing us to Joseph's Journey. Q-tip, thank you for being Q-tip. Mike, thanks man, just thanks.
Every one of you have made being a part of 5280 one of the most memorable experiences of my life. You should all be very proud of what 5280 has accomplished and of the things that are yet to come. You guys are gonna go a long, long way. Keep doing what you're doing, I'll be watching so keep the website updated.
Most of all, Sean, thanks for that phone call.
See ya on the water guys
