This is interesting.  i was looking at google for some info on the killer whales, and current "stock" reports that there are bout 190 Killer Whales living in the gulf.  Most of them must have been feasting on the Tunas that day. 
This report also claimed that these populations had major sighting in 1921, 1985 and 1987, so just out of curiosity I  cross referenced that with any other reports in the gulf during those years and couldn't find anything  that stuck out. No disasters, no flood no famine, nothing else in common (that I could find).  The video is awesome.  Check it out on Utube.  it's not this sighting, but one earlier this year.

Not that's wild....Use to work on the oil rigs in the gulf and have seen plenty of huge sharks, tuna, yellowtail, and some huge baracuda....never a whale....
