Ahhh Jeremy?  What are you talking about?  This is one of the busiest bass boards on the net!  What exactly are you looking for?

just like with any of the states, it takes folks posting reports to get more reports. Some states like this one have a lot of lurkers, folks that want info but won't give any up. I seen where you have posted about your local lake! Help the others that are posting reports and before long your state board will be like some of the many others we have on the site!

Mike's input is dead on - we have a lot of participation on the Florida board, but it is because a large number of the Florida members post reports each time they return from the water.

Remember folks - a report does not have to give information related to specific spots or even baits if you don't want to share that type of info.  Simply water conditions (temp/visibility), general trends, fish caught, and anything else exciting you saw had happen while on the water is great.   Was the ramp you launched from in good shape?  Were the weeds so thick they clogged your motor up while idling?  Were there logs floating creating dangerous conditions?  Anything and everything is of help to those who are fishing in the future - please give as much as you get - everyone wins that way!!! ~c~ ~c~

~rant I agree Jeremy!  The reason I have not been posting anything lately is because I haven't been fishing lately.  I fish Holt Lake mostly and I think it is probably one of the deadest boards in the state, and I know this is not because the fishing is bad on Holt because it definitely isn't.  I think it is very weird that on weekends it is hard to find a good place to fish on Holt because of all the fishermen and then the only people that ever post on here is myslef and Flutterspoon along with a few others.(sorry guys if I didn't mention your names)

I agree that we need more posts on Alabama Threads!!!  I could use the help since I am teaching myself to bass fish!  I haven't been to Holt lake in several weeks so I haven't posted anything but hopefully will be back soon.  I am headed to the Tombigbee around Forkland this weekend.  The past couple of weeks the Tombigbee has been going down fast on the water levels... don't know if that has slowed lately or not.  I would be interested in hearing lake/river reports from everyone in Alabama.  I use www.markshotlakes.com but even they don't always have the lake you are looking for!

I agree, alot of us look for info but dont provide any! For us to be a Society we sure dont share much. I have tried to get reports on several different lakes in prep for a weekend out of town and there is just not much info, so we decided to just fish Eufaula again.

I apologize as I have had internet problems but I have about 5 reports to post. I agree that we should have more posts from Bama cause I know they are folks that view this forum that fish in Bama.

Although I haven't fished the lakes listed yet, I plan on fishing every body of water in Alabama the next 5 years.  ~b~

Good to see some new folks on Board, ROLL TIDE, GO BAMA!

~cf As sweed said , I dont really need to know spots, though I have posted a few, any kind of info such as they have moved deep, or they seem to be on a flippin bite or they are feeding in grassbeds, or the lake is low, stained, clear, or even other boat info such as if there are alot of pleasure boaters on the water. I cherish any and all info on lakes espically ones i dont fish verry often. We all like to catch fish and enjoy our day on the water. I will share with anyone even other folks in a bass tournament I am fishing. I fish with my dad alot and i love to watch him catch fish. I hope that we all can get into the habit of at least posting water conditions and general lake conditions.
