« on: May 20, 2009, 09:53:07 AM »

Caught several good bass this past Saturday with a 4 and a 1/2 pound spot and a few around 3 pounds. Water temp was 74-76 and the conditions were overcast until late afternoon.

Are you targeting shallow water or deep?

The topwater bite has been almost nonexistant. We have caught a few as well as others but it is no where it should be. Pop-r and spooks in black and chrome taking most.

This past Friday night was terrible. Several of my friends didn't boat a fish. I only boated a few small fish and the bite after dark was even worse for everyone.
