i wouldnt limit myself, as they have moved alot of water, the lake is or should be great on some ledges as well. I perfer the North end myself But I do go to several of the southern creeks as well. Dont forget to fish close to the basin at lakepoint there are usually a few lurkers there from previous tournaments, I usually get 2 out of five there with verry little effort. Rood creek was great to me as well. But flippin was the money technique !

i have fished 9 tournaments there this year, and 6 of those were won by guys who have never even left the main creek or fired up a big motor. one in general a guy cought 27 lbs with in 100 yds of the exit of the marina basin. I usually catch a few off the first point as you exit the basin, but its part of my plan each tournamnet there that at 1 oclock I return and spend the last two hours fishing that area, alot of fish are cought there! A local Georgia fisherman I know fishes a club tournamnet and he fishes at the main ramp and beats those rocks to death all day long and he wins 2 out of 3 tournaments he fishes.

Just got back from Eufaula where we had a club tournament today.  I didn't get to prefish, but several members did and they caught a bunch of fish.  Things changed a bit today, however and it wasn't as good as it had been.

We fish a draw tournament and my boater won with 15 pounds.  I finished fourth with 9.5.  Cris caught most of his fish on a frog early, but I just could not connect with one.  I went to a 1/2 oz. white willowleaf spinnerbait and put my four in the boat in the shallow grass early.

No one caught big fish today.  Big fish for the tournament was less than 4 pounds.  Thanks to Ranger Joe for his advice on fishing grass close to deep water.

Dick, Glad to hear you all had a great time. Aaron1971 and I fished a MediaBass there on Sunday also. The keeper fish seemed to have been far and few in between for us also. We had plenty of little ones, the big ones just wasn't there for us. We had several blow ups from some nice ones but just couldn't get the hook set on the frog bite. I changed over to a Mag Speed Worm rigged weightless working it on top and managed a few that way. We ended up just short of ten pounds with 5 fish, I think first was 22lbs ~b~. I think the bigger fish were pulled in from deeper water on points and ledges on the main lake. Either way it was a good day of fishing. ;D

Its getting close to time to fish those ledges, and if they drew water the bite always seems to be off. I tried that spot you mentioned Joe,but the lightning was way to much for me! I headed across the river close to the bank and cought a few, My best finish on seminole yet, 10th! I tried to fish patterns similar to what I would fish on Eufaula or westpoint and there is just to much difference! Arron seems to be a nice guy, I have met him at a couple ABA  tournaments, he usually catches big and good fish, from his history he has won a few out of the back of the boat which says alot. I have yet had a chance to fish with him, but I am sure I will. Is there a website for the Media bass thing as i would be interested in it. I have heard severla speek of it as well as the BFL and I amy try to fish them. Just dont know enough about them yet.
