Why no current or recent Idaho reports?
« on: May 23, 2009, 01:26:03 PM »

Just joined and seems odd there are no posts from Idaho since August of 2008.  Would like to get some recent reports out of north Idaho if there any?  Am I missing something?

It's mostly we don't have the numbers of bass fisherman up here in Idaho. 90% of all the fisherman here are either trout or panfish chasers.
I dont mind that fact though  ~c~

as most of the time I have the lake or the stretch of river I'm fishing all to myself.  Because of that, most years I catch some toads here.  But as a general report the bass fishing was off all year because of the strange weather we had this year. It was warm and hardly any snow last winter and I thought we were in for an early spring and good fishing when the good weather went south. It was so cold all spring after being warm that it stressed all the fish so that they couldn't spawn to a point that many lakes were full of dead fish. I caught some fish in late july that were still spawning.
I did have some good days on the PO River and had a few days with bags that would have gone over 15 pounds but no 20's like I would normally get in years past.  ~gf
