Any info such as water condition, general fish patterns on Eufaula?

We went today and we sucked. We managed four baby fish all day flipping the grass and pads. Stayed on the north end all day. The water on and near the main lake had a good stain, the water in chewalla creek looked like chocolate milk after went up there. Monsoon came about 10 or so and lasted for about 40 minutes...i think that really hurt, along with the week long cold front we've been having. Water temp throughout was 73. Last time I went down there 2 weeks ago, temps were in the mid to upper 80's. Water seems to be very, very high. Very frustrating day for us. Best thing going was the cheeseburgers at the marina.

Thanks, Chewalla always seems to muddy up easy. Did you happen to go to Rood creek or little barbour?

nah. spent a lot of time in chewalla, didn't make it as far north as little barbour, no idea where rood is. I'm wanting to find some good deep water spots and points...my strength and favorite thing to do is flipping, but you know sometimes, that bite just dries up...

yea I hate it when the bite dries out, Rood creek is where that long no wake zone is up from the marina on the east side about 1/4 mile from the witches ditch
