Anyone familiar with this model?
« on: June 15, 2009, 03:50:14 PM »

2001 Skeeter SX 190
http://seattle.craigslist.org/tac/boa/1215163670.html

Interested in picking this boat up. Ive already spoken with the holder of the boat and am going to look it over in the next few days.  Want some feedback from people familiar with this model around the same year so I know of things to look for.

Thanks

Good boat. It does not have the aluminum stringers like the ZX series but a good fishing platform.

I own a 2002 with the 150 V-max motor. This boat has been good and has performed flawlessly. Mine runs about 60-61 MPH and has good ride overall. Nice roomy front deck and good storage. Was not a Skeeter fan until I bought this unit and would buy another. Like any boat make sure you look it over and run it before giving anyone $$$$ GOOD LUCK! ~c~

I have an 05' and love it. Great running boat, good storage, fishes great. Of course it's not a cadallic but hey it gets the job done. Like BH said take a look at it and and run it and maybe even see if you can bring it to a shop and have them check the motor out.
