What's up all? Me, my dad and possibly the bro-inlaw and uncle are looking to take a yet another fishing trip and Tims Ford caught our eye. Can't find to much hard core information about the bass fishing. We know there's a lot of species available for anglers, but we mainly go at the Large Mouth, but won't stop at the chance to catch everything it has to offer. We took a spur the moment trip to Lake Fork, TX in June (unguided...lots of locals giving great info and even fished with a UB member that really put us on some good fishing) which turned out to be a phenomenal fishery and will be returning in February. However, we are looking at a place a little closer (Tims Ford is only a day (9 - 10 hours) away versus a straight 24 hour drive). Anyone think that this lake is worth the $100 a night cabin, and the out of state license fees? Just lookin' to find some helpful info. Thanks in advance.
