i've got another report from guntersville, alot like my last few....
I loaded up and went to the big g after alot of rain and storming last week, it was an overcast day with light rain, and NO wind. I expected a great day of topwater action, and if you looked at the water, fish were hitting up everywhere......but my and my fishing buddies just could not get one to hit topwater. We ended up catching them on humps and ditches in about 8-10ft of water in the mouths of creeks. the bridges and structure closer to the main river was better. as always I was throwin a mag 11 worm on the structure and around bridges. I think the lack of wind hurt the topwater, but we still should've been able to produce some. finished with about 10 largemouth in 2-3lb range with one spot going 3 lbs.
