Evidently Daiwa stopped making them, and was looking for a couple sets.  Does anyone know where I might find them? Does anyone have some they would sell?  Thanks.

Dug, I did several search's of tackle stores, including all of the Japan places that I know of. It looks like they are all sold out. Your best bet now would be to save a search for them on ebay so that you get notified if someone posts some for sale. You might try the guys at southwester parts and service. They are one of the biggest all brand parts companies. They might posible have some left. 214-630-8161

Thanks I was afraid of that.  I bought my first set for $25.00 and see folks selling them on Ebay for 250% MARKUP, which I refuse to do.

I have been considering trying to make a pair for myself.  Have either of you ever tried this or know of someone that has?

Yep i saw those, I'ZE FACTORY REAL CUSTOM SYSTEM
RCS KNOB and they are 18.99 per knob, so better but still a little steep. They  also come in compressed cork with rubberized paint in black blue and red and will not be available until april.
