The 13th Annual Lake Conroe Big Bass Classic is up on March 13th and 14th at Papas on the Lake.  http://lakeconroebigbass.com/registration/

Over 700 anglers participated in last years event with Mike Parson's taking home the grand prize.

This years overall big bass winner will take home the Oakley 2010 Nitro Z8 with a 200HP Mercury Pro XS fully rigged including a 8' Power-Pole.  Grand Prize valued at $33,000 and is guaranteed regardless of number of entries.

Hourly payouts are:

1st  - $1,000
2nd - $500
3rd  - $300
4th  - $200
5th  - $100

*Payouts based on 500 entries.

All entrants will receive a free rod with two day entry.

Will will have thousands in prizes from our sponsor partners that will be given away via text message throughout the event weekend.  Mark your calendars and we

Registration opens up a Papas this Thursday from 5pm to 9pm and then all day Friday from 9am-9pm.  Let the fun begin.

The lake is heating up and there have been some big fish caught in the last week.  Weather is going to be incredible and Oakley is about to throw down one heck of a party.  Lock-n-Haul, Lake Fork Tackle, Castaway and the Army Bass Anglers will all be set up at the event.

If you're open this coming weekend, then come join us.  There won't be a better place to be fishing in Texas with more money on the line this next weekend.

I couldn't have hand scripted a better start to the 2010 Oakley Big Bass Tour season as Conroe absolutely cranked out fish after fish in the 2010 Lake Conroe Big Bass Classic.  A record number of fish were weighed in with a staggering Final Top 10.

Over 600 anglers were treated to near perfect conditions and the big fish were certainly on the move.  We paid out over $140,000 (Over 130% Payout) in cash and prizes and Papas was once again the place to be.  As always, Oakley showed off their unique capacity to deliver an incredible event and entertain anglers and spectators for the entire three days.  What can I say about the Rolling O Lab?  Absolutely insane.  Oakley's technology, staff, and hospitality is simply unmatched.

David Bozarth took home the 2010 Nitro Z8 Grand Prize with a 12.63 monster caught on Saturday.  Congratulations David on a great fish and a great win!  It was truly great to listen to Scott tell David's dads story and to see their time on the water together culminate in an incredible win.
