First boat so I didn't spend much in case I hate the upkeep or I sink it. Got an '88 Champion with a 150HP two stroke. Ended up being $2500 out of pocket. Checked out it out as good as I could without it being in the water. Motor was strong, gears seamed fine. Pumps, switches, electronics all worked. All in all I think I did very well for the price. Hope to get 2 solid years out of this before I get a better one. I really hope it all works well. Ran the motor for a few good minutes with the ear muffs and it sound looked good under the cover. Won't know if I got a good deal until Saturday at Loxahatchee, if it floats and runs I'm happy.
