Dyna Trak boats were built by Ebb Tide Boat Company.  From what I can remember, they stopped making the boats in the early 90's.

They were well built boats, but heavy for their size and not very popular.

Personally, unless it was a VERY good price, I'd keep looking.

Thanks Steve,,i just found some info on them an your correct they quit building them in the in 1999 As for what i can find the 194STE weighs 1425 pounds which about the same as most boats that size. and it must be a thick hull with it having a all alum. top deck,,I also read that they where fully composite hulls with no wood at all in them. This boat is priced right due to its condintion and its a one owner with under 100 hours of use. I haven't got to see it in person yet!! but from what i can tell in pictures it has a very similar hull to pro crafts and champions. Iam not looking for a speed demon just a nice comfortable fishing boat,, with the most for least lol

The important thing is that YOU are happy with the boat.  What others think really doesn't matter because they aren't making the payments.

I would suggest that you do test-drive the boat before putting down the money and test EVERYTHING in the boat.  By everything, I mean turn on every switch in the boat and make sure what it's connected to turns on.  A friend of mine recently bought a used boat that was "rewired."  What that meant was the former owner decided that having the bilge pump switch turning on the electric fuel pump, the livewell pumpout actually filled the wells and a couple other exciting little other exotic wiring plans was really a good idea!

We spent days trying to figure out and re-run the wires!

Of course, you'll want to go through any used boat with a fine tooth comb and it's never a bad idea to have a compression test run on the powerhead.

And even then, it never hurts to put aside at least a couple hundred bucks in a slush fund to fix unseen problems.

Steve you are so so true about boats wiring being hacked to death. I allways take a compresion gauge and a fluke meter and a small box of hand tools with me when looking at boats. I have been looking at boats for a while an have walked away from a few due to nothing working and the wiring all messed up.And the test drive myself think is the most important part when looking to buy a used boat,,,I have found many many boats that are waterlogged, and it affects the boat in many many ways.
