Fish With A Pro/Favorite Pro
« on: January 06, 2010, 01:05:25 PM »

If you could fish with a pro bass fisherman or two who would it be?
Here are mine:

1. Tommy Biffle-He's a diehard flipper and pitcher; that's exactly how I love to fish.

2. Jeff Kreit-I've seen him on the Zona Show on ESPN and he seems like he's a good guy and lots of fun.

Who are your favorite pro bass fisherman?
Here are mine:

Skeet Reese
Tommy Biffle
Mike McClelland
Greg Hackney
Byron Velvick

For me it would have to be:

Ike
KVD
Tommy Biffle

In that order. Ike because he is my idle and he is fun to watch.
KVD because he is from Michigan, a northern guy like me (across the big pond from me in Wisconsin)
Biffle because he is a great shallow water fisherman and he knows how to catch bass in shallow heavy cover.

Pam Martin-Wells

She knows the local lakes, especially Seminole, and seems to have a really good time fishing.

Rick Klunn- I have followed him for 20 years and I think he could help me
 with my mental approach.
KVD- He is the best right now and seems to be a good guy.
Jimmy Houston-watching his shows first got me interested in bass fishing

IKE!!!! no doubt. love the passion and attitude he has. i have recently talked to glen lau the guy that made the underwater video called "bigmouth" He is one of the nicest guys you could ever talk to, He made bigmouth and bigmouth forever, a must have for guys who are passionate about bass fishing. It is by far the most fascinating underwater bass video ever filmed. It was filmed in florida at silver springs and the rainbow river. I would love to meet glenn. I have spoken with him via the phone. You guys should check out his site and get you a copy

How can everyone not say KVD!!!!!!! He's the best that's ever walked the earth, and I don't think anyone can argue that. And Dean Rojas, just because the way he casts, and works that frog is like an art.

Jeff  KREIT

May be the best off shore fisherman around and just an all round nice guy.
He has voluntarily taken Kent fishing several times and each time he spends the day teaching. how can you beat that ~c~

Just TV guys?  I would love to fish one of Bill Dances Farm ponds.  Forget fishing with him  ~roflmao ~roflmao ~roflmao ~roflmao  Next i'd take his glass boat The motor has never been started :shocking: lo lo lo
If you fish with Clunn don't pee in the water :o :o

Seriously though.   I'd pick Ray Scott at his lake that he built from the ground up with all the structure.  I would want to see the video of it before the water came in first. And listen to him explain what and why.

I am fortunate to know and fish with a few of the semi big names on the FLW and BASS Elites so maybe thats why I pick Ray. But there is something awesome about seeing a lake built for bass.
