2010 Lone Star Series

www.lonestarseries.com

Here's the 2010 Schedule.

2010 North Schedule:

February 27th - Cedar Creek
March 27th - Eagle Mountain
April 24th - Ray Roberts
May 8th - Ray Hubbard

2010 Central Schedule:

February 13th - Belton
March 27th - Conroe
April 17th - Waco *Changed Please Note
May 22nd - Livingston

Championship - October 16-17, 2010 Lake Lewisville

With four (4) lakes in each division, a 90% C&P payout, 5 different contingency programs, $4,000 in AOY Prizes and now a $35,000 championship first place prize payout there may not be a better option out there in the $150 entry range.  We hope you will take some time to review the 2010 Lone Star Series and make plans to join us in one of our divisions.

Please note the following two important changes:

1.  Due to a schedule conflict with another trail we are moving the April 17th Central event from Stillhouse to Lake Waco.  We've had a number of previous requests for Lake Waco so this is a win-win.

2.  We have adjusted the rule requirement related to Championship qualification.  In an effort to assist both North and Central Divisions anglers with travel costs etc and to be as flexible as possible, teams will now only be required to fish a minimum of three (3) events in any division or five (5) events in two divisions in order to qualify for the 2010 Championship.

These changes should make a huge difference for us moving forward and allow more teams to participate in the series.

Oakley has stepped up to provide the winning team at each event a pair of polarized optics valued at $200.  This $400 worth of prizes will be guaranteed to the winning team at each event in the North and Central Divisions.

Due to the weather conditions and lake levels we are moving the Lone Star Series Central Division event on Lake Belton scheduled for this Saturday, February 13th to Cedar Ridge Park.

Cedar Ridge Park
3790 Cedar Ridge Park Road
Temple, TX 76502

Lake officials have advised that there is a probability of lake closure if the rain continues.  Please visit this thread and our website www.lonestarseries.com throughout the week for updates.  In the event of lake closure we are working on alternate dates for this event.

Any questions can be directed to Keith Odom at (713) 502-6200 or by email at keith@lonestarseries.com

Thank you

Lone Star Staff
