Found a 1997 skeeter with 175 V-max unknown hours but looks very clean. He needs $7500 I think its a steal. Should I buy it and feel guilty for 5 min. or keep lookin. Can't run the boat, were in minnesota, as I type this its -19 outside.

That may be fair if the boat is in 9 to 10 condition wise. I've seen lots of boats that size but a year or three newer in the same price range just by searching online. Least you get to look it over good even if not on the water.

97 for that amount isn't a bad price, but I sure would try and figure a way to at least get the motor started / checked out by a mechanic prior to laying down any cash. If he has a hole in the piston or something and you pay him for it. YOU now have a hole in the piston...
