Oakley Big Bass Tour will be coming to Lake Norman for the Inaugural Carolina Big Bass Classic on May 15-16, 2010. Oakley will pull out all the stops as the
Rolling O Lab will converge upon Charlotte providing anglers an opportunity to experience Oakley's hospitality first hand and to get educated on the advantages of their superior optical technology. Amateur anglers will be treated to 3 days of food and fun as this open big bass format allows anglers of all skill levels to compete for thousands in cash and prizes. Based at Blythe Landing the event will feature hourly weigh-ins and non-stop action on Saturday and Sunday with the overall big bass winner taking home a 2010 Nitro Z8 with a 200HP Mercury Pro XS fully rigged with an 8' Power-Pole. The Nitro grand prize is valued at $33,000 and is guaranteed regardless of entries. We will have more out soon regarding hourly payouts and registration information. We will have advanced online registration open beginning in March. Anglers will also be able to register before the event at the Bass Pro Shops in Concord. We will have an all day event registration on Friday May 14th from 9am-9pm.
