Since this will be my first to year to fish in about 7 years I will prolly just stick to local tournaments on Bull Shoals. I expect it will take me a year or two for me to get back where I can fish competively again. I have alot to try to remember.

There is a series on Bull Shoals this year and I already have 2 thats wanting to team up with me but I'm afraid they will have to carry me alot LOL.
I might take my new boat down this weekend and play a little. I have ALOT of rust that needs greased out. I hope I dont run out of rod and reels due to too many birdnests and backlashes  lo

The one I'm talking about is the Pontiac Buddy Series out of you guessed it Pontiac Boat Dock. There is a $50 entry fee, 5 fish limit, 2 tournaments a month from March-September then the top 15 or 20 goes to the fish off. Last year they were drawing around 30-40 boats a tournament.

There is another series going on Bull as well but I havent heard much about it. The guy I got this boat from fish one of them last Saturday. Said it took 17 lbs to win (5 fish limit) but then after that not all that much weighed in.

There is prolly another series or 2 on Bull and or Norfork but I havent looked into anything yet. I gotta relearn how to fish first LOL lo

wow that a good price for entry. mine for the AiA this year is 140. each lake in missouri has 5 a year but you dont have to fish them all. the top 40% at the end goes to championship. they had one on dec 6 and 17.09 won it. in december! and the one on dec 5th took over 20 lbs to win.
Its gonna be tough to compete this year.

I have been considering signing on as a non-boater with the Mid-States Tournament Association at Smithville.  One tourny a month April thru July and two in August.  Haven't committed yet but still have a little time to decide.  I have never fished a circuit just my small club tournaments but thought I might gain a little knowledge.

I'm going to fish AiA this year on Table Rock and probably some of the USA Bassin tourneys.  Was gonna fish the USA Bassin this coming weekend but can't come up with a partner and the lake has been pretty tough lately.
