I found this video (not mine) of some Champion boats running and making crazy jek ski type turns.

i used to do stuff like that in my 181. i don't think the new champs can turn like that though. LOL... i used to scare the ever living out of my friends.

I wouldn't try it either.
I used to own property on a gated country community that had 6 ponds and one 300 acre lake. That lake was full of juvenile jet skiers that used to buzz the bass boats like crazy all the time. I could see where that kind of turn might be usefull when a 12 year old jet skier is crossing your bow at full throttle.

Almost did that by accident in my 202 last summer making a high speed sharp turn into a slough

She grabbed pretty hard and turned a 90* on a dime at 60mph

but I was able to pull out of the breech. Passenger now has a different attitude when it comes to fastening his life jacket

when i got my boat the dealer took us out and taught us how to do stuff like that in the video. we would get up to 50 trim down a little a turn. it was awesome. needless to say i was sold right then. i have tried to make my boat swap ends and never could do it! however, i am sure if i was trimmed all the way up and turned as hard as possible while going fast and hit some wake it would happen.
