I can't claim this one but I thought it was a neat idea (it was in the Bassmaster Mag) But take a crank bait (I would use balsa wood) and remove the hooks and add a key ring to keep your keys on. Not only is it kinda cool from a fisherman standpoint but it will float your keys when your buddy is being a wise ass and throws them at the boat after parking your truck

I like the idea of the floating keys

I always worry about loosing my keys over the side of the boat.

Cool idea!

I need a new key ring and have a few cranks that will work quite well.

I can't wait till someone comes after you because they tried using a lipless crank...

This is a great idea.

We just need to ensure you don't have more keys on the ring than the crankbait can keep a float.

I've seen these crankbait key rings at the check out in Academy Sportings Goods.
I'm going to redo my boat keys into one of these beings there's only 2 keys.

I read this too, but I have WAY to many keys on my ring... It would be a "deep diving" crank bait

Or do you mean a "SUSPENDING" crank bait?
