Kanawha river has been producing some nice walleyes in the past couple of weeks. The river has been running several feet high and very stained. the water temps are in the mid 30's. The walleye, sauger and hybrid stripers have been biting around the mouth of creeks that are running in clear. Walleye are starting into the pre spawn mode which increases the chance of a trophy size walleye.
