Finally got to go out again today and pulled up to the pond with hopes of a big one, as usual. After about 20 minutes I got this one. Only weighed 6.18 but it beat out my PB by a few ounces.

it's probably just the photo...but that thing looks kind of 'spotted bass' like..

that IS a nice fish...

has to be the angle of the fish making that tail look a bit thinner...

Thanks. I thought it looked bigger too when I caught it but, it was weighed on certified scales. After weighing, I returned her to the pond in hope of catching again.
