Mike Haggerty: Water is cold 38-41 deg away from the power plant. You can find water as warm as 56 inside the knuckle for the power plant but the fish were not there (or more likely I missed their limited activity window) today. Lots of water being drawn from Cordell Hull and these fish hate current this time of year. Hooked up a few on a pointer DD in the cleaner water, barely a twitch or three then 10-12 sec pause, twitch, go eat a sandwich, twitch twitch, take a nap, BAM. It is a test in patience but fish can be had this cold.
