Old Hickory 2/21/10

Water has warmed a bit in the last few days, found some organic 43 deg areas, also the lake is somewhat cleaner, still lots of main lake current from spilling Cordell Hull. If you get up river some from the 109 bridge, and fish this place like a river, you can find some shallow fish active. Lots of dying bait around the steam plant and I believe the fish in that area are not having an issue finding a meal in short order once they decide to feed. If the weather stabilizes for a few days in a row, you will see the fish throughout the lake get more active.
