Hey everyone here ia a useful tip for you to try....tie on your dropshot hook and bait but instead of using your weight tie on your jig and trailer i will usually use a finesse jig and a craw trailer and dropshot a gulp minnow....throw it out shaking it and drag the bottom....I guarentee you will catch more bass i usually put the dropshot about 2 feet from the jig....i use 15# you can use floro or mono.....it is a fun way to fish....and you will get more hook ups!!!Try it out!!!

I thank you for validating my theory,  one of my early posts here actually mentioned a similar idea using a shakey head.  Now all I need to do is find enough patience to try it.

I have tried this method several times and with great results. On one cast a fish would take the dropper bait and another cast a fish would take the jig. Great fun fishing  ~gf
