Bass on jerkbaits neaver laydowns, have heard of good bags on deep cranks and buzz baits. Back of creeks are heating up near 50 degrees in the afternoon.
Walleye are schooling up south of RT12 bridge and a lot of keepers off cranks. They seem to be a little deeper.
Stripers are in the back of almost every creek in 6-10 ft of water, flukes, swimbaits, jerkbaits. 8-12 lb are the most common but 20-25 lb are in about evey boat limit I have seen. Think I had some 25lb plus fish straighten hooks, switching hooks today.
South of RT 12 Bridge seems to be biggest bags of Largemouth but creeks up by the damn are doing good also.
If you are moving and throwing something that looks like a shad somewhere on the lake you are likley to hook a big fish right now. I have had really good luck and haven't talked to anyone at the boat ramp that isn't doing better.
For big stripers look for 2lb gizzard shad kicking around the top of the water, the stripers will stun them and then come back to eat them. I have cast around the stuned shad and pulled 5 stripers out of the same spot.
