I put 4 of them in my boat in 08, very expensive, but very reliable! I had one that gave me problems last year, took it to a dealer & he gave me a brand new one. No questions asked! Didn't even ask for my name.

What size batteries are you using?
If you don't mind a small drive, I use Stevens Battery Warehouse in Pasadena. I have always used their products, infact their house brands and save a boat load of money.
I have two group 27 deep cycle batteries for my trolling motor, and 1 group 31 for my Yammie. Most people use all group 27, but I like the CCA's a group 31 gives for the big motor. I also notice alot of guys try and get by with group 24's for their trollers, which I suspect you are using if you are draining them that quick.
Here is Stevens site. Even if you decide to get Optima's, which I don't recommend they sale them at wholesale prices. They also have different AGM batteries that have higher ratings then Optima's.

I think for the two group 27s and one group 31 with case exchange I am at $300 and they last me two years or more. I have never had one issue in about 10yrs of using their batteries.

Stevens battery warehouse is the bomb. Been using them for 6 years now. Sent many boaters their way and they are all happy. Everyone that works there is knowledgable about all types of batteries. Worth the drive for sure.

Luckily I am only 5 minutes.
I will be going over there probably Monday to get a new trio, as mine have two years on them. They are still good, but I get a new set every two just to be safe.
Lifeline - that is the marine AGM's they carry, and they rave about those batteries. They went on and on for about 5 minutes as to why they are so much better then Optima's. I do recall they were some really pricey batteries though, thats for sure!

My lifeline agms are now going on their 6th full year for my 24 volt motorguide. I havent seen any decline whatsoever. Knock on wood. They are expensive but getting 6 years out of them is well worth it.

I just yanked out my batteries this morning. I am stopping by on my way home from work. I priced the Lifelines two years ago, if I remember correctly they were like $300 a battery. I want them, but I don't know if I am willing to invest $900 in three batteries. I do know they told me they Lifelines were 10x's better then the Optima's, but again those house batteries are just priced to nicely to stop buying acid. I haven't made up my mind, and knowing my spending habits, I will have the Lifelines in the truck by 3pm

I just got back from Stevens..
Their Optima's are $155 a piece if your buying two or more.
They also slammed the Optimas as trolling batteries. They don't have enough reserve capacity to work to the fullest capacity. Although you might not have issues with them, they won't last you as long on one charge as any other AGM, and 90% of most lead cell.
If you are running a 250 Pro XS optimax, you must run the 31M without your electronics or pumps running to have the proper MCA's otherwise you are slowly but surely tearing up your alternator on your motor. Have you price one of those lately?? Again, for CCA's you better have the 31M to run your electronics properly as well. You might not be witnessing your damage but it is being done.
Look at the spec sheets. Look at the difference in the Reserve Capacity. This is just Deka's standard AGM battery. I don't see the cost advantage to the Optima's. The Battery store even said it is a gimick, but they will sell them because everyone keeps buying them.
