My son tried some 6lb last fall on spinning tackle.  He said sensitivity was okay but line management was tough and he had a few questions regarding knot strength.  He took if off after about 2 weeks and went back to Berkley 100%.

Dan, I'm no expert by any means, but I had pretty much the same experience Tim's son had. I spooled some on during last year's tournament season and just didn't have a lot of confidence in it. Maybe I got a bad or old spool, but it didn't measure up to the pricier stuff. I'd be interested in other folk's take, too.

Let me start by saying I bass fish. I fish the Bass Opens as well as some FLW events. I started in 2008 as a co-angler, and moved to the front of the boat last year. Though I've not set the world on fire (best finish so far 16th on Guntersville during last year's FLW Stren event), the point is I fish a lot and use a lot of line. I know what it means to have confidence in the products I use when there's so much on the line (no pun). I've used TripleFish for the past several months, and I have confidence in it. It has the same characteristics (both good and bad) as most of the other popular brands. I use the 17lb and 20lb most of the time, and I go to 12lb while deep cranking. I cannot comment on anything lighter. I'm not saying it's any better than the other popular brands (Berkley 100%, BPS, Maxima, P-Line, Seagar, etc.), but it's no worse and cheaper. Another great fluorocarbon is Vicious. It's even cheaper than TripleFish, and again about the same characteristics as the rest. Gamma is by far the best, but WOW! They are way too proud of it. I'm sick of paying for it.
None of this stuff is subtle enough to be considered "managable" on a spinning outfit. Guys do it. Not impossible, but never gonna behave as nicely as mono on your spinning reel. However, if you really believe that fluoro is a must have advantage, hence, make you more confident that you're about to get bit, try the Berkley Vanish or Seagar in 6-8lb. They seem most managable (limp) on a spinning outfit to me, and both are more invisible than others.
Sorry to ramble. It's my first time ever posting anything. Short answer is yes. TripleFish is pretty good German made stuff.

Triple Fish has not changed its fluorocarbon, the new one is a knock off.
My family uses it as their leader and line of choice.

I dont know the science behind it but i tried berkley 100% and i just couldnt get used to casting with it, so i shopped around and found stren flourocast. it was cheaper so i told myself oh well im not losing that much on it and it seems to me to be fairly supple and easy to cast. again I dont know whats the difference and if its a poorer quality it just seemed to work better for me.
