This is what I was talking about the other day.... Go ahead and participate in the survey, but you won't like the results later. I refuse to do it, it is only going to make matters worse. If they don't have data, they don't have data to use against us. You don't know what they are collecting and how it is going to be spewed against us... My main question is why are the managing the recreational stock?? Why?? The commercial fisherman put a way more massive strain on the stock then the recreational guy does. Don't give them the data... don't.

Change... How much more can you handle?

Yeah but you don't know how that info could be used... Immediately I think, he didn't catch anything so therefore the fish stock must be low.. shut it down for a while so it re-establishes itself.

If you are scared of the consequences for not registering then go ahead... but just refuse to participate in the surveys? Thats all I can think of.

This reminds me when a Lobbyist came to the MD Bass Federation President's meeting a couple years back.  He asked for MD Bass Federation to support an increase on the cost of Fishing licenses in Maryland.  He said the Law that was being voted on specifically called for all the additional revenue from the licenses would be matched by the State of Maryland, and all those funds would flow directly back into Fishing.  It would go into more electroshocking and research on different areas, more stocking in different lakes and rivers to regenerate lost fish population.  Well when he mentioned that the State would "match" dollar for dollar, and all funds would go directly into fishing, we all voted, and the majority were in favor of supporting it.  He went to similar organizations and got the same support.  So now the Lobbyist went to the General Assembly and said MD Bass Federation, Trout Unlimited, CCA, and several other fishing organizations and said all these fishermen support the bill.  The General Assembly debated on it, and then they withdrew the "Matching" funds, and passed the bill.

So in essence, They got the support of the voters under fall pretenses, and then passed a bill to generate more revenue for the state.  Had they not said the state was going to Match Funds, they would've never gotten our support.  Just unbelievable, you never know what they are going to do...   ~rant

Creel Limit Zero, I disagree with you!!!!

We always know what they are going to do, that will be take more of our money and take more control over our lives. Its been happening since the 30s and Americans let it happen. Now it's happening at an astounding rate faster than ever before. I and millions of others knew this would happen but the media would'nt report the true nature of this creature. We need to fight, you can fight by e-mailing and making phone calls, its easy, I do it all the time. I know we are busy with our families, work, school etc, but are we to busy to save our country? How many ofyou or people you know always say, " that can't happen here". We'll, its happening!!!!!

I'm going to Annapolis today to attend a hearing in support of the 2nd Ammendt. Unfortunaly our reps don't seem to be representing us any more so we have to do it ourselves and vote in some new blood.    Peace brothers and please join the fight.

They could stock way more bass in places then they do.The goverment in this country is on a path of destruction & its on purpose they dont like the way this country is & want it to be a european socialists  style state.

~bb  their all evil just about everyone of them.  They don't fish enough.  If they could tax us by the hour for being on the water there would be no issue for the fishermen. I am a hater. If the weather gets nice I'll be a lover " fish on "
