Sorry this is political but this deals with the very thing that we all love....Fishing. He is trying to limit/ban it. no lie. This is scary. can we please vote this guy out of office! It's an Obamanation!

Well, I haven't read the article, but I know this much. People wander why the South hates Obama. There's your sign. You start messing with peoples way of life and you got serious problems. I wouldn't be surprised to see a serious uproar from wildlife enthusiasts across the nations.

Does Obama not realize that the President is supposed to REPRESENT the VIEWS OF THE PEOPLE? He keeps suggesting that he knows better than the general population what is best for the country.....give me a freakin break. The nation DOES NOT WANT the health care plan...yet he keeps pushing for it. Let him ban fishing and the SOUTH WILL RISE AGAIN....rise up and remove him from office. Impeach this communist. next we'll tax it
then give all that money and more to some big corporation that doesn't need it
then we will lay off another 500,000 workers because no one is buying fishing stuff
then we will have a congressional hearing about what can be done
they will decide to have bipartisen round table, where only one side shows up
then they will whine and complain to the news media
then there will be all kinds of press n the great new plan
including TV commercials

and while all that CRAP is going on, i will be out fishing... civil disobedience at its best

Just one more of the evils being pushed from the White House. There is also a move to make you register all guns you own on your tax return and pay a tax on each one. Just a ruse to find the guns and then take them. The health care bill will further tax us and most may not realize it but our tax dollars will fund abortions if the bill is forced through as it stands now. That is one of the major problems with this bill. Our basic rights, to bear arms, to hunt and fish, and if we are not vocal enough, our right exist is at stake!!! May God's people stand up and reclaim this great nation that was formed as ONE NATION UNDER GOD!!!

You gotta remember one thing: to get rid of him we need to stand together, and that means not splintering off into a third party. we need to retake control of both of the major parties, Dem, and Rep. If he is able to divide us, and make no mistake, this is part of his stratagy, he will win again.

That would take a lot, I can't find anyone who approves of what he is doing on anything right now. But people will always get leaders like this when you listen to the BS coming out thier mouths instead of where they have been and what they have done. Setting in a classroom and getting A's and looking good does not make a leader, show me your scars.

but the main problem now is that they are trying to quietly force through a bill that would actually start the process of eliminating recreational fishing, whereas previous administrations it was just talk and maybe a few small committees.

He like a lot of us are sick of the whole thing, no one ever stands up and takes responsibility it's always the other sides fault no matter if it's Dem/Rep doing the talking it's the same chit.

IMHO once politics became a career rather than a service to our country the temptation to look out for #1 became the priority. Why is it so hard for our leaders to approve things of the citizens of this country that they themselves have, like healthcare? Because both sides have grown to think they are better than us the average Joe.

You are correct Ron. Too many on both sides feel they are above the rest of us. We need men or women who want to serve the people not themselves whether they are democrat or republican it does not matter to me. Balance the budget. Limit the size of government, cut taxes to stimulate jobs. I don't care anymore who does it just get it done. Just look out for us. Politicians are not Gods but they act like they are. 85 Billion $$ a year industry in fishing alone and he wants to abolish it? Common. Do you have any conception what that would mean? Everybody and everything that is involved from hotels, boats, fishing supplies, vacations, outfitters, resorts.........you get the drift. There would be a revolution in this country like never seen before.
